Come make an eternal impact
Step out of your comfort zone and join us on a mission trip that could transform your life! This trip is designed specifically to train you in missions, giving you practical opportunities and situations to learn about missions and live out your faith in a cross-cultural context.
Why we do it
We go on this mission trip to reach, train and equip individuals to become servant leaders of Christ in the context of cross-cultural missions. Experience first-hand how God can use short-term missions to impact lives for eternity.
4 Areas of Training
1. Culture: On this trip to Juárez, Mexico, you will experience another culture and begin to learn how to operate as an effective servant of Christ in that culture. This will give you valuable experience that will help you to serve well in cross-cultural contexts wherever you go.
2. Relationships: You will learn about and serve alongside brothers and sisters in Christ from other countries and languages. Building cross-cultural relationships that you will remember for the rest of your life.
3. Biblical Training: This includes a book study. The trips are on a three-year rotation of books that may include: “When Helping Hurts” and “Eternity in their hearts”. Additionally, there will be Morning Devotionals, as well as guided personal devotions on the trip. Cross-cultural worship and testimonies will also be apart of the training on this trip.
4. Service learning: You will have the opportunity on this trip to learn both practically and experientially as you serve. Additionally, you get to see firsthand the ministry of Amigos en Cristo, who they are, and how they do ministry.
Partnership Bonus: Not only will you receive all the training and experience listed above, you will also get to participate in serving and blessing Amigos en Cristo with your work. There are many needs that this ministry has and you get to meet those needs with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
Where we do it
Don’t miss this life-changing opportunity to serve Christ in the settlement neighborhoods of Juarez Mexico at the minstry of Amigos en Cristo located about 11 Miles south of El Paso Texas.
Amigos en Cristo focuses on helping impoverished kids and their families through after-school programs. These programs include: Bible teaching, instruction in their educational needs, nutritious meals, and opportunities in music and arts. All efforts and tasks are accomplished with their dedicated team, serving with fellowship in Christian Community. Living Waters has been coming to serve with Amigos en Cristo for many years.
How we do it
Come prepared for all kinds of service: construction, cleaning, repairs, cooking, VBS children’s program, including teaching, crafts, music, games facilitator, and building relationships while serving alongside local families in the ministry.
We will board the camp bus for the 30-hour journey to Mexico. This time on a bus allows you to fellowship and get to know the team you will be serving alongside for the next 10 days. Come on the bus prepared to learn & work. This time can include times of prayer & training as well as laughter, and godly conversations.
Once we arrive in Mexico, we will stay in a secure compound in dorm-style rooms. Meals are an authentic ethnic treat! We will be blessed by the wonderful cooking of our Mexican hosts. During the day, we work hard on projects, and in many of the evenings, we fellowship and worship together.

$250 For building projects.
Each individual is invited to partner with Amigos en Christo by raising this amount for the building projects in Juárez Mexico. This way you have a personal and financial investment in the work there.
However, you are not limited to this amount if you feel led to raise more. The more money we raise, the better the quality and quantity of the projects we do.
You, your church, or your supporters can make your contributions using the following button:
8 Meals on the Road ($10-$20 per meal)
We decided not to add travel meals to the base price since we want you to have the freedom to buy the food you need, at the cost you prefer, while traveling.
