father son retreat
Friday, January 17 – Sunday, January 19, 2025
INFORMATION
The Father-Son Retreat at Living Waters Bible Camp is designed to help Fathers and Sons spend meaningful time together. As Dads, our time and energy are often consumed by a career as we seek to provide for our families, however, we need to ensure that we don’t miss investing the necessary time to influence our sons. Choose this weekend to retreat together and experience great activities as well as sound Bible teaching.
Each father-son combination will work together to create their own craft project representing what we learned this weekend.
Weather permitting, we have a variety of great outdoor activities planned. Whether it be participating in a broomball competition, traveling at high speeds down the Living Waters tubing hill, or enjoying the beautiful scenery on cross-country skis with your son(s), you are sure to make great memories!
OUR SPEAKER - KT Leverentz
KT is a long time friend of camp; volunteering in several different roles and serving on the Camp Board. He and his son Aaron are looking forward to blessing your family this year.
CHAPEL THEME
Jesus said in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly!”
Abundant joy is fullest when we allow Him to satisfy our thirst. The world holds countless suggestions for gaining satisfaction. These steal joy, they don’t add joy. The world’s satisfaction strategies don’t lead to life, but rather death and destruction. How do we reject the world’s recipe for satisfaction and joy in order to fully embrace God’s satisfying, abundant life? Let’s search the Scriptures and discuss finding satisfying, abundant life together for all ages of men!
