Do you remember your first day of high school?  The stress of trying to connect with other students and teachers, while trying to open your locker and find your classes can make for a rough start to a long year.

Coulee Christian from West Salem, Wisconsin, partners with Living Waters to make the first day of school for their students an unforgettable learning experience.

On Sunday, the 24th, the Coulee Christian Senior Class arrived at camp for advance training and TAC to be servant leaders to the underclassmen.  Two days later, the rest of the high school students boarded the camp bus and traveled down to the valley to enjoy four days at camp.

Students experienced purposeful adventure around camp doing orienteering, paintball, skits and the water slide.  Training included sessions by Dave Hart and Coulee Christian faculty.  Teachers told us that “the retreat is a great way to start the year.”  “It helps teachers connect with students and students connect to each other.”  All in all, the week long retreat at camp is a fantastic way for students to start out their year.

Do you know of a school that would benefit from a retreat to Living Waters?  Please share the retreats page on the website with them.
