At Living Waters Bible Camp safety is always a priority for our campers. During the Covid19 crisis camp desires to continue our mission with safety foremost in our mind. Living Waters fully intends to follow and maintain all required regulations for our facility regarding the pandemic.
As we look towards the summer, our goal is to continue our mission “to reach, train and equip individuals to be servant leaders through the truth of God’s word, intentional Godly relationships and adventures in His creation.” We are optimistic that ministry will still be possible in whatever format is allowable. As a staff we have implemented Safe Thinking practices to continue to function and sustain the ministry that God has so faithfully provided these past 50 years.
As we prepare for summer programs we intend to apply Safe Thinking principals. Safe Thinking is intended to be smart about risk management and taking practical steps to reduce risk of infection. Overall, we are praying for at least a possibility to offer the mission of Living Waters.
Our basic camp program will include 3-day camp programs with teaching time, nature programs and basic camp activities i.e. archery, basic meals, singing, campfires and crafts. As the required regulations are relaxed more people, programs and activities will be added. These changes may be made from week to week and will require a servant’s heart and great flexibility on all our parts.
How we can safely serve campers and each other while achieving the mission will be our goal. We look forward to serving you this summer here at camp.
