“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and He will make your path clear/straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
This past summer was amazing…
So hard to let go…
So much to be thankful for…
No matter what is happening in our lives the Lord is looking for us to trust in Him! When things are busy and growing, when change is happening and when we are still and reflect on His goodness – even in spite of our weakness and mistakes.
Mary Ann and I are amazed by all the hard work from so many involved at camp. We praise the Lord for reports of many campers responding to the Gospel. We continue to be amazed at the growth of so many campers and staff.
We also are thankful we can draw closer to the Lord in a time of change. Please continue to pray that I would pass the batons well and help serve the Lord and Ivan and the camp wherever I can as I assume my new role of Director of Outreach and Development. It is not always easy giving up the known for plowing the unknown new ground.
As we reflect on all the Lord has done through our lives and the camp, we are humbled by the hard work our children did during the growing times of the camp and all the lessons we learned as a family (many times the hard way). Tim Tebow recently said that “not much success has come without a lot of sacrifice.” We are humbled that the Lord could use our family to help lead a ministry with the help of so many.
We look forward to what the Lord has for us in the coming years at Living Waters Bible Camp!
