Financial Accountability
One of Living Waters Bible Camp’s critical success factors is continued financial accountability and stability. To assist in maintaining this standard our Board has asked that camp achieve ECFA accreditation. ECFA is the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. The council establishes standards of responsible stewardship and offers accreditation to Christian nonprofit organizations. Accreditation requires compliance with established standards of financial accountability, transparency, fundraising, and board governance.
Camp’s Office Manager, Brant Hougas, worked hard to ensure that camp’s policies and procedures met the required standards. In December 2015, camp achieved accreditation and has sustained it for the past year. We pray that this voluntary accreditation will enhance trust among our donors that their gifts are well cared for and used effectively.
While God faithfully provides for the ministry at Living Waters, ECFA accreditation will give accountability for the resources provided.
