Join us for our Sugar Bush DaysSugar Bush Days are two great events where you (and your family) can come an see first hand how maple syrup is made, and then enjoy the syrup on as part of the included all-you-can eat pancake meal!
These events are a great way for your family to get outdoors, enjoy a delicious meal and have fun while exploring the camp! Sugar Bush Days Tours and Activities Sugar Bush Tour Enjoy the tour of the Sugar Bush as you hike among the towering maple trees. See how the trees are drilled and tapped. Learn and taste why maple trees give us sweet sap, and consider how your life can be made sweeter! Sugar Shack Tour Experience and taste the wonder of maple syrup production, in the Sugar Shack tour. As steam rises from the evaporator, you will see the process of turning sap to syrup. Enjoy tasting pure maple syrup, and learning the history of this native sweetness. Maple Candy Making Stories of Laura Ingalls living in the big woods may pass through your memory when you think of real maple syrup... Now you can experience the delight of making your own maple syrup candy! You'll see many different ways you can use and enjoy pure maple syrup. Trout Pond Tour Discover a little known feature of the Coulee Region as you tour the Wild Brook Trout raceway. Enjoy the beauty and learn the history of this native trout. If you dare, put your hand in the water and touch a trout fish as it darts by your hand! Hiking Trails Spring is almost ready to awaken! See what you may discover as you hike the trails. Keep your eyes open for the first shoots of green or the last pockets of snow.
